The competition started with a watery showdown known as boat races, where pairs went head-to-head. Han triumphantly employed her surfing abilities to outsmart Carson, earning them the top spot. Brett and Mark concluded the race last, incurring a 10-minute penalty for their tardiness.
In the following cheese identification task, groups were requested to recognize several types of French cheese. Initially thinking about employing their Get-Out-Of-Challenge card, Josiah and Alyssa eventually utilized it, but did so a bit late to gain an edge.
