The North Face x Naohiro Fujisaki Redefine Urban Exploration in SS25 Capsule Collection

For the very first time, The North Face collaborates with independent Japanese designer Naohiro Fujisaki on a capsule collection. This new assortment aligns with their Urban Exploration Spring/Summer 2025 concept, which emphasizes the transformation and growth of urban environments – “Urban Growth and Change.

Following Fujisaki’s innovative guidance, the SS25 lineup refreshes timeless shapes like the Himalayan Suit, Hard Shell Mountain Jacket, and Denali Jacket. These styles blend iconic aspects from The North Face originals with cutting-edge improvements such as removable parts, refined fits, and spacious utility pockets. Constructed using DryVent™ fabric featuring a DWR water-resistant coating, the collection offers a balance of lightweight resilience and practicality. Furthermore, Fujisaki found inspiration in classic industrial aesthetics, adding bold orange accents to give the line an updated, urban flair.

To kick off their latest product line unveiling, The North Face collaborated with versatile artist Oscar Wang to premiere the “Blurred Border” art exhibit during Hong Kong Art Week. This interactive environment blends cityscapes and nature seamlessly, with a two-meter dome tent serving as its focal point.

Wang’s exhibit combines aspects of Hong Kong’s unique cultural landscape and natural environment, using ambient sounds, reflected images, and a sensation of weightlessness. Visitors can immerse themselves in a multi-sensory journey that explores the bond between urban life and wilderness. The display is open for viewing at Hong Kong’s Pacific Place mall until March 30, 2025.
