As a long-time fan of the Suicide Squad series and a seasoned gamer, this announcement has left me with a mix of emotions. On one hand, I’m thrilled that we are getting Deathstroke as a playable character in Season 4, particularly with his unique Talents that cater to both close and long-range combat. The medieval-themed Elseworld setting also adds an exciting twist to the gameplay, reminiscent of DC’s Dark Knights of Steel comic.
Rocksteady Studios and WB Games have officially declared that the next season for “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” will be its final one. The Season 4 Episode 7: Control commences on December 10, 2024, marking the start of wrapping up post-release content for this action-packed game, signifying its conclusion.
What is the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League final update?
In the concluding season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, fans will encounter Deathstroke, a well-loved DC mercenary. Beginning on December 10th, gamers can explore Metropolis in the role of the world’s most skilled hitman. To assume the persona of Slade, players must first finish the Mayhem Mission at an Episode Rank of 30 and defeat Braniac.
Deathstroke excels in combat from both short and long distances due to his proficiency with swords and marksmanship. This versatility is showcased through his in-game abilities known as Assassin, Mercenary, and Strategist. The Assassin talent emphasizes his expertise in close-quarters combat. Mercenary enhances the effectiveness of his firearms, grenades, and movement attacks. Strategist concentrates on debilitating enemies by employing various tools and devices to gain an advantage.
Following his last confrontation and loss against Batman, the renowned assassin Slade Wilson found himself adrift. Imprisoned in Arkham Asylum alongside common criminals, he had ample time on his hands and was forced to grapple with his defeat. However, instead of succumbing to despair, Wilson chose to seclude himself for training and introspection. After a prolonged period of self-examination, Deathstroke came to understand that he no longer needed to prove himself – until Brainiac invaded Earth. Upon Amanda Waller’s offer of an open-ended contract to eliminate the invasion’s leader, Deathstroke had no hesitation in accepting.
This season, the Suicide Squad embarks on a journey to an Elseworld with a medieval theme, where they’ll battle Brainiac. The storyline takes inspiration from DC Comics’ Dark Knights of Steel, penned by Tom Taylor and beautifully illustrated by Yasmine Putri.
In Season 4, there’s a new addition – Offline play for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This means gamers can enjoy the main story and seasonal missions even without an internet connection. To access this mode, you can either start a fresh game or transfer your existing Online profile progress over.
Kill the Justice League, set to launch on January 14, 2025. After this, seasonal and episodic updates will no longer be provided; however, all online functionalities will continue to operate as usual.
