Beginning in April, the enhanced versions of Rob Liefeld’s (Deadpool) classic series – Youngblood Deluxe – will be available on store shelves from Image Comics. These premium editions will feature the original Youngblood single issues published in 1992, but with updated scripts, colors, letters, and remastered artwork.
In issue #1 of Youngblood Deluxe, readers were given a glimpse into the dynamic universe of Badrock, Shaft, Die-Hard, Vogue, Sentinel, Riptide, Cougar, Chapel, and others, for an exhilarating 40 pages filled with stunning visuals and thought-provoking sequences. Youngblood Deluxe is being marketed as the ultimate way to immerse yourself in the comic series that played a pivotal role in the Image Comics Revolution.
According to Liefeld, “This is the most authentic method to immerse in the world of Youngblood.” These characters hold a special place in his heart, and reliving them in this manner is undeniably the finest approach to savoring the comic that sparked the revolution and significantly changed the comics industry.
On Wednesday, April 16, you’ll find the first issue of the Youngblood Deluxe series at your local comic book stores, courtesy of Image Comics.
