Directors SS Rajamouli and Sukumar are well-known for their hit movies, thanks to their impressive careers spanning many years. Recently, musician Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the two at the Pushpa 2 event prior to its release in 2024 on social media.
On X (previously Twitter), DSP shared a brief message about the two directors, saying: “TWO TALENTED INDIVIDUALS CAPTURED TOGETHER. A photo I took at the PRE-LAUNCH EVENT for #PUSHPA2. #DSPhotography #DSPkissik. Thank you, esteemed Sir SS Rajamouli, for elevating INDIAN CINEMA on a GLOBAL stage… And thank you, dear Suku Bhai, for bringing us to the GLOBAL arena with #PUSHPA and #PUSHPA2.”

As a devoted admirer, I was quite taken aback when news broke about the leaked footage from the film set of SSMB29 by none other than the brilliant Director SS Rajamouli. The origin of this video clip is still shrouded in mystery, but it showcased Mahesh Babu and, presumably, Prithviraj Sukumaran engaging in a conversation.
The brief video spread rapidly across various platforms, causing numerous supporters to request that officials take it down because it discredits the collective effort of the whole team. Previously, another video filmed in Odisha had also been made public unofficially.
Currently, it appears that the creators might be enhancing security on set and could potentially pursue legal action regarding the spread of those clips. Yet, an official announcement about this matter is still pending.
The upcoming movie SSMB29, or simply SSRMB, is known for its jungle-themed action. Unlike other recent films by Rajamouli, this one takes place in the present day. With a large production budget, it’s anticipated that the film will be split into two parts and eventually hit theaters.
Leading man Mahesh Babu is set to star in an upcoming film, with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra Jonas taking on significant parts as well.
Contrastingly, filmmaker Sukumar has recently experienced tremendous triumph with the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun. This follow-up has proven to be extremely popular, prompting the declaration of a third chapter in the series.
At the moment, Sukumar’s upcoming film project is called RC17, and it stars Ram Charan as the main character.
