A new trailer for Peacemaker Season 2 has been released.
In January 2022, the initial installment of the Peacemaker series was launched on HBO Max, a brainchild of James Gunn. This production is an extension of the 2021 film The Suicide Squad and features John Cena returning to his character, Chris Smith.
Starting next month, we’ll see the debut of Peacemaker’s second season. Unlike its first installment that was set within the DCEU, wrapping up with this year’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Season 2 will now be a part of the DC Universe led by James Gunn and Peter Safran. Rest assured, fans, that Gunn has promised to handle the continuity shift in the storyline effectively.

What happens in the Peacemaker Season 2 trailer?
In the trailer for Season 2 of Peacemaker, Chris Smith faces off against Rick Flag Sr., with the plot centered around Frank Grillo’s character seeking revenge for his deceased son, now that he leads A.R.G.U.S. Tim Meadows takes on the role of A.R.G.U.S. agent Langston Fleury in the upcoming episode, while Michael Rooker portrays Red St. Wild, a ruthless hunter intent on eliminating Eagly.

Danielle Brooks will bring Leota Adebayo to life, Freddie Stroma steps into the role of Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland reprises her character Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee is back as John Economos, Isabela Merced takes on Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion adds some Green Lantern energy as Guy Gardner, and Sean Gunn will play Maxwell Lord. And that’s just the beginning!
In the upcoming season of Peacemaker, our protagonist grapples with reconciling his past and finding a meaningful purpose. Simultaneously, he continues his crusade against wrongdoers, all in the name of achieving peace no matter the cost.
In August 21, 2025, the second season of “Peacemaker” will debut on HBO Max. Right now, you can catch up on both seasons one of “Peacemaker” and “The Suicide Squad” on this streaming service.
