Michelle Lamy and Oliver Gustav have organized a fresh exhibition showcasing Rick Owens’ furniture creations within the grand neoclassical museum building of Studio Oliver Gustav in Copenhagen. Dubbed STAGING, this event presents Owens’ interior pieces as a journey into “current art, design, and narrative space creation,” featuring artwork from artists like Scarlett Rouge, Giovanni Bassan, Kaare Golles, and Rasmus Rosengaard.

The gallery showcases a number of Owen’s latest furniture creations, such as the “Large Screen in Alabaster” and the “Large Screen in Plywood”. These circular sculptures are placed inside Gustav’s halls. Furthermore, the exhibition presents Owen’s intricate “Chalice Vase”, which boasts an upper cylindrical shape and lower conical shape crafted from crystal, along with his “Single Prong” and “Double Prong” seats, both constructed using concrete. These are just a few of the many pieces on display.
