As a gamer, I’m sharing an update: My man Justin Baldoni’s old man, Sam Baldoni, has stepped into the fray of his son’s beef with Blake Lively. Sam recently jumped onto his Insta Story and posted a clip of what looks like a bulletin board aimed at both Blake and her hubby, Ryan Reynolds, according to reports. But it seems that post’s disappeared from his Instagram page now.
What did Justin Baldoni’s father share on Instagram?
61-year-old Sam Baldoni apparently shared a video on Instagram Stories of a bulletin board displaying the message “In a sea of Blakes and Ryans, be a Justin.” This board includes a photo montage and news articles about Baldoni, along with words like “compassionate,” “supportive,” and “honest” describing the director of It Ends With Us. The video is accompanied by an audio clip from Baldoni’s podcast expressing gratitude towards his wife, Emily Foxler.
At the moment, it appears that Sam Baldoni’s Instagram Story does not feature the post, however, you can still view the original video on Jenny Benner’s TikTok profile (@jennybenners).
In partnership, Baldoni and Lively worked together on the film “It Ends With Us.” Not only did Baldoni take on the director’s role, but he also starred as Ryle Kincaid in the movie. In contrast, Lively took on the lead character, Lily Bloom. The film hit U.S. cinemas on August 9, 2024. During the promotion for this movie, Lively faced criticism over her perceived insensitive behavior.
In December 2024, Lively made a complaint to the California Civil Rights Department against Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios. She alleged that Baldoni had subjected her to sexual harassment and retaliation on set. Following an article published by The New York Times in the same month accusing Baldoni and others of using crisis management experts to harm Lively’s reputation, Baldoni then sued the publication for $250 million.
In the very same month, Lively additionally took legal action against Baldoni, repeating the allegations she had made in her complaint to the California Civil Rights Department. Simultaneously, Baldoni’s legal representatives countered with a $400 million lawsuit directed at Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, in January 2025.
