Emma confides in Joss about Dalton’s big secret

Emma shares with Joss that the sorrow from Dex’s passing has fundamentally altered her. In response, Joss discloses that she’s immersing herself in Dalton’s course to discover purpose. However, Emma advises Joss cautiously about Dalton, hinting that he may not be as he appears.

Emma openly admits that her dismissal from Berkeley stemmed from a breach of security at Dalton’s lab. There, she discovered troubling instances of animal testing not only on rats, but also on dogs. To avoid legal consequences, she agreed to a Non-Disclosure Agreement. However, she remains steadfast in her mission to unmask Dalton by securing a research assistant position.

Joss reports back to Brennan about Dalton

At the WSB headquarters, Vaughn informs Brennan that Joss observed Dalton having a meeting with Anna Devane. This raises Brennan’s suspicions, especially when he learns that Dalton left a puzzling case in a GH lab. Upon Joss’ arrival, she confirms that Emma seems to know more than usual. Brennan advises caution, as Anna discovering this could disrupt the situation. He then tasks Joss with her new assignment: secure a research assistant position at the same lab and keep tabs on Dalton’s potentially dangerous technology project.

Kristina makes peace with Ric and Ava

At Kristina’s mom’s place, Kristina encounters Ric and Ava. Ric expresses his desire to rebuild for Molly’s wellbeing. In response, Kristina declares she is releasing her resentment towards them both. Once they depart, Molly shows up, initiating the family’s process of mending.

Dante confronts Gio over Rocco’s drinking incident

Laura chats with Rocco, who admits he overindulged at a gathering. Cody looked after him, and Laura comforts him by saying mistakes are normal. However, things get heated when Dante scolds Lois and Gio. He claims Gio put Rocco in danger and criticizes Lois for being too lenient with him.

In a subsequent conversation, Lulu expresses her concern that Dante overstepped boundaries. Later, Lois subtly hints at Dante’s actions by mentioning how Gio chose to assist Rocco when others didn’t, implying Dante’s behavior was not as commendable. Following this exchange, an upset Gio retreats to the beach where he shares with Emma the tension between him and Dante, feeling disrespected due to their disagreement.
