The movie synopsis for “The Life of Peter Gottlieb” presents a narrative about a community college instructor who, following a painful divorce and teetering on self-destruction, finds himself drawn to his student, Sabrina Carbonowitz. Their unusual bond begins to flourish as a series of missing students from the college unsettles the town, with the local law enforcement force in hot pursuit. When Sabrina herself vanishes, Peter becomes the chief suspect, turning him into public enemy number one and setting off a whirlwind of chaos. “The Life of Peter Gottlieb” unfolds an exhilarating tale encompassing loss, redemption, humor, and an abundance of heart.

In this production, we have Reuben Barsky portraying Peter Gottlieb, Erica Pappas playing Sabrina Carbonowitz, Centrella taking on the role of Detective Dan Murphy, Giorgio Panetta as Detective Nicodemo Reno, Greer Barnes acting as Lieutenant Harvey Mac, William Apps in the part of Lenny Carbonowitz, Tommy Buck as Jasper Knox, Tonya Pinkins starring as Dean Fedleman, Michael Ford assuming the role of Billy Kaiden, Victoria Ratermanis bringing Charlotte to life, and Caitlin Hammond embodying Mallory Stein-Byrne.

“Peter Gottlieb’s life story is essentially a heart-wrenching romance about two individuals searching for connection amidst a gloomy backdrop, as expressed by Centrella. Our aim was to blend our passion for cinema, romance, suspense, music, and humor to spin a raw, magical tale. The narrative unfolds in the imaginary town of Chittenwa, where we delve into themes such as power struggles, addiction, and intimacy. This is the kind of movie we yearned to watch ourselves.”
