Daredevil Season 4 Is MCU’s Born Again, Vincent D’Onofrio & Charlie Cox Explain

The upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again won’t mark the first time that the principal cast reunites, and, as per stars Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox, they are approaching the show as if it’s simply a continuation of Daredevil Season 4.

What did Daredevil’s stars say about Born Again?

During the premiere of Deadline, D’Onofrio mentioned that for them, this new show feels similar to a fourth season of the original Netflix series.

D’Onofrio stated, “It feels like a continuation of the original series,” implying, “Daredevil: Born Again” is technically its first season, yet it maintains the same mood, cast, struggles, thrills, feelings, and offers even more.

Charlie Cox didn’t add much, but did joke that the show was “dark” multiple times.

In March 2025, Daredevil: Born Again, a nine-episode series, will debut on Disney+ as part of Phase Five within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Previously aired seasons 1-3 of the Netflix’s Marvel’s Daredevil are also accessible to stream on Disney+.

The highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Daredevil, titled “Daredevil: Born Again,” is being spearheaded by showrunner Dario Scardapane and directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. In this new installment, Charlie Cox will once again step into the role of Matt Murdock, with Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye. Additionally, Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gaston, Nikki M. James, Arty Froushan, and Genneya Walton are newcomers to the franchise who will also be part of this exciting cast.

Previously, both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made their appearances within the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2021. Kingpin was featured as a guest star in Hawkeye series, while Matt Murdock/Daredevil had a brief stint in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
