What happens in the exclusive Marked Men clip?

In an unique scene from Marked Men, we find Chase Stokes’ character, Rule, at his tattoo shop. Shaw, portrayed by Sydney Taylor, enters and mentions her desire for a tattoo. Subtly, Shaw removes her jacket and gradually strips down.

In the plot summary, it’s stated that Shaw, a student preparing for medical school, has long held affection for Rule, a free-spirited tattoo artist. However, he’s only perceived her as a family acquaintance. Following an impulsive encounter, they both must grapple with repressed emotions while dealing with mourning, familial pressures, and apprehension about commitment. This situation serves to explore whether the love between two individuals from such disparate backgrounds can endure in the long run.

According to the Jay Crownover book series, Sharon Soboil penned the script for the movie. The actors cast in this production are Alexander Ludwig portraying Rome Archer, Ella Balinska as Ayden Cross, Evan Mock as Jet Teller, Matthew Noszka as Nash Donavan, and Natalie Alyn Lind taking on the role of Cora Lewis.

During an exclusive chat with ComingSoon, Stokes expressed about collaborating with Taylor in Marked Men: “Taylor made a daring decision for one particular scene, choosing to fully immerse herself. That’s the scene set in the tattoo shop. I recall, when you briefly stepped out, Nick wrapped his arm around my shoulder and said, ‘That’s our girl, isn’t it?’ To which I replied, ‘Yes, yes. That’s our girl.’ From that instant, I felt confident that Syd was incredibly dedicated.
