Fumero expressed that the cast deeply yearns to work together again, but she believes the show might not return unless Andre Braugher is involved. She explained this to the media outlet, saying, “We’ve certainly considered bringing it back, and we all miss each other so much and cherish our time spent together. However, I don’t think we could make it work without Andre, so I’m not sure if that would actually happen.
Furthermore, the actress asserted that she wishes “to work in other things with everyone.”
Andre Braugher significantly contributed to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, portraying Captain Raymond Holt. His acting earned him four Primetime Emmy nominations during the series, and he clinched two Critics’ Choice Television Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Tragically, following the end of the sitcom in 2021, Braugher passed away from lung cancer on December 11, 2023.
