David Koepp is the author behind the script, a prolific writer who gained fame for collaborating with Michael Crichton on the 1993 classic Jurassic Park. He has also contributed to numerous screenplays, including Mission: Impossible (1996), Spider-Man (2002), War of the Worlds (2005), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Premium Rush (2012), The Mummy (2017), and Jurassic World Rebirth (2025), to name a few.
Previously, Koepp and Soderbergh collaborated on the film “Kimi,” released in 2022. Starring Zoë Kravitz, this production can now be streamed on Max.
Moreover, Koepp is responsible for writing the script of the Soderbergh-directed psychological thriller titled “Presence”, set to release in 2025. Casey Silver and Greg Jacobs are the producers for Black Bag.
