As a seasoned gamer with over three decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen countless studios rise and fall, but none have sparked such intrigue as the audacious Rebel Wolves. Their debut game, Dawnwalker saga, is shaping up to be a dark fantasy epic, thanks in part to the experienced hands guiding it from Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz. The partnership with publishing giant Bandai Namco is a testament to their potential, ensuring a global release for this ambitious project.
A few years after setting up shop, me and my team at Rebel Wolves – a fresh Polish studio led by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who’s known for directing games like The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 – have scored a publishing deal with Bandai Namco. With their backing, we’re now ready to unleash our debut project: an engrossing dark fantasy action-RPG called the Dawnwalker saga, which promises to be quite the adventure!
This week, the studio Rebel Wolves disclosed their publishing agreement with Bandai Namco through their social media platforms. It appears that the Dawnwalker series will span across several video games, but for now, Bandai Namco will be releasing the initial installment as its publisher.
We’re excited to share that we’ve secured a publishing agreement with Bandai Namco EU! 🎉
This means Bandai Namco EU will be the global publisher for our inaugural Dawnwalker game – an immersive AAA action RPG set in medieval Europe, featuring a dark fantasy narrative and sandbox environment.

Rebel Wolves was established back in February 2022. The team isn’t just led by Tomaszkiewicz, but also comprises several other prominent developers from projects like Witcher and Cyberpunk who chose to join him after he left CD Projekt in 2021. With Bandai Namco providing its support, it seems Rebel Wolves is well-positioned to release their debut game.
