The THR report indicates that Bernthal is set to join an esteemed group including Tom Holland for the upcoming film. At present, details about the cast are as enigmatic as the movie’s plot itself. So far, only Bernthal, Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Sadie Sink have been officially confirmed for the project, with Sink set to take on a role shrouded in mystery.
Despite the fact that no details about the film are available yet, there’s been a flurry of speculation regarding it. The rumors, including whispers about Sadie Sink’s role and potential appearances by Nicole Kidman, have sparked lots of fan discussions about what the movie might entail.
Destin Daniel Cretton, known for his work on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (released in 2021), is now directing Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Previously, he was set to guide the fourth Avengers movie, titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but resigned from that role in November 2023.
