In a fictional village nestled within Kerala’s Alleppey district serves as the setting for the story “Maharani.” The main characters, Aji and Viji, are depicted as people without clearly defined goals or aspirations in their lives.
Regardless of the challenges they face, these two friends, represented by Aji (portrayed by Shine), and Viji, maintain their unwavering loyalty and remain each other’s constant support system. While Aji dreams of running away with his girlfriend, Viji yearns for a companion who can help him boost his financial situation.
The story reaches its peak when Aji’s love interest, Rani, mysteriously disappears, leading her family to accuse Aji, Viji, and their group of friends for the incident. The desperate search for Rani and their subsequent actions to clear their names forms the climax of the movie.

The series Maharani features Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko as the main characters. Additionally, Johny Antony, Harisree Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Sruthy Jayan, Kailash, and others also appear in the show.
The movie was penned by Ratheesh Ravi and orchestrated by G Marthandan. Badusha Productions is funding this project, while Gopi Sundar and Govind Vasantha are responsible for the film’s music composition.
