With its Tamil-Telugu dual language, this film pairs the two leading actors. In this production, the actor known as Raayan takes on the role of Deva, a street beggar.
The character is drawn into a plan for deceiving funds, positioning him as a fall guy. In discussing his personality, co-star Nagarjuna emphasized that he’s someone who maintains joy in life even without an income.
At a recent pre-release gathering, I myself shared an intriguing anecdote about my unique collaboration with Sekhar Kammula. What took me aback, though, was finding myself in the unfamiliar role of street beggar during our filming in Tirupati – a humbling experience that set the stage for our work together.
Nagarjuna Akkineni as Deepak
In this rendition, the esteemed actor Nagarjuna Akkineni assumes the part of Deepak, a CBI agent originally from a modest socioeconomic standing. In discussing his character, the talented thespian Nagarjuna emphasized that he portrays a perplexed individual within the narrative’s unfolding events.
In my portrayal, I embody a middle-class individual transitioning into the role of a CBI officer. My on-screen persona is entangled in a moral dilemma, grappling with the decision between righteousness and wrongdoing. As hinted by the film’s details, my character collaborates strategically with a street beggar to execute a clever plan.
Rashmika Mandanna as Sameera
Rashmika Mandanna has been cast for the part of Sameera, a commoner who harbors big aspirations. As of now, specifics regarding her character and backstory remain undisclosed, but it’s anticipated that she will serve as a connection between Deva and Deepak.
Intriguingly, Jim Sarbh portrays Neeraj in the film, a wealthy entrepreneur whose wealth forms a crucial aspect of the storyline. As per Nagarjuna’s latest conversation with Naga Chaitanya, Sarbh’s character is a billionaire who, despite his immense fortune, seems discontented with life.
