Trisha Krishnan continues to excel in her acting roles across multiple films. Her next project is “Thug Life”, set to showcase her talents once more. However, her on-screen romance with Kamal Haasan has drawn some criticism due to their significant age difference of 30 years.
At a recent premiere gathering for the movie in Mumbai, Trisha responded firmly to discussions and critiques about her acting chemistry with Kamal Haasan on screen.
The actress herself stated that long before they filmed together, she felt their on-screen chemistry would be enchanting, despite some people criticizing the idea of it.
As a lifestyle expert, I recall the moment when the movie was first announced, and instinctively, I sensed something special about it – even before I had officially joined the project. It was then that I realized, “Wow, this is truly magical!” At that point, I wasn’t even involved in the film itself.
Next up, the actress from Vidaamuyarchi shared insights on observing the collaboration of two remarkable artists, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, in a movie production. She emphasized their seamless harmony and how it was challenging not to be captivated by them while they worked off-camera.
As an ardent follower, I found myself uttering, “Wow, this calls for some effort! It’s time to divert our attention from them. The moment was truly enchanting.
Meanwhile, it’s worth mentioning that Trisha has been receiving criticism lately following the announcement of a new track, Sugar Baby, by the producers of Thug Life, in which she will be the main artist.
People expressed dissatisfaction with multiple grounds. They found the title of the song inappropriate given that the actress, being in her 40s, was involved. Additionally, it was noted that for the first time, a Mani Ratnam production included an item number, which drew criticism from some quarters.
For those unfamiliar, the movie “Thug Life” will premiere on June 5, 2025. This film promises to depict a strained relationship between characters portrayed by Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR.
In this upcoming project, Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan are joining forces again, following their previous venture titled “Nayakan”. This movie is being brought to you under the production house, Raaj Kamal Films International. The music for the film has been crafted by none other than AR Rahman.
Thug Life would make its way to the OTT platform Netflix after 8 weeks of its theatrical run.
