In Kochi, Kerala, popular Malayalam film and TV actor Vishnu Prasad sadly passed away due to liver disease at a local private hospital. He had been battling the illness for some period and tragically passed away while receiving medical care. This information comes from The Indian Express report, which states that he had been in critical condition for quite a while.
The sad news of Vishnu Prasad’s death was shared on Instagram by his friend and actor, Kishor Satya. In his post, he expressed, “Friends, it is with great sadness I must tell you that Vishnu Prasad has passed away. He had been battling an illness for a while. My sympathies go out to his family during this difficult time. I hope they find the strength to endure this unexpected loss.

Seema G Nair expressed her sadness over Vishnu Prasad’s demise and posted about it online. She reminisced about their longstanding friendship that had grown weaker over time. Recently, they hadn’t seen much of each other, but last week she went to see him in the hospital and attempted to bring some humor into the situation with jokes.
Seema conveyed that everyone was wishing for his quick recovery. It was also clear that Vishnu had a fierce determination to survive. However, hearing about his passing left her stunned. In closing, she expressed her sympathies.

Vishnu Prasad sadly passed away in a private hospital during the planning stages of his liver transplant operation. Although his daughter was willing to donate a liver, the family found it difficult to collect enough money for the necessary surgery.
As stated in the report, approximately 30 lakh rupees were needed for the procedure. In response, the Association of Television Media Artistes (ATMA) initiated a fundraising campaign to assist with this cause. Regrettably, Vishnu’s health deteriorated prior to the treatment, and it did not occur. Tragically, he leaves behind his two daughters, Ananika and Abhirami.
Among his memorable roles on the big screen are starring in “Kasi” with Vikram and “Kaiyethum Doorath” alongside Fahadh Faasil. Furthermore, he was a common sight on Malayalam television dramas, earning widespread acclaim for his acting abilities.
