Kendrick Lamar Becomes First Rapper To Earn $9M USD From One Concert

On the initial night of their joint “Grand National Tour,” Kendrick Lamar has surpassed previous records, setting a new standard.

The data from the Touring analysis showed that the duo’s inaugural performance at Bank Stadium in Minneapolis generated a grand total of $9,124,989 USD. This impressive figure was achieved by selling all 47,354 tickets available at an average price of $192.70 USD each. This record-breaking revenue makes Dot the first rapper in history to earn over $9 million USD from a single show, surpassing Eminem’s previous record set in Melbourne in 2019 with a gross income of $8,708,390 USD from one concert.

In addition, the Bank Stadium show also marks Lamar and SZA’s most-attended concert of all time.

The “Grand National Tour” has the duo scheduled to perform throughout North America up until June, followed by shows in Europe and the United Kingdom during the summer season.

Kendrick Lamar has set a new record by becoming the first rapper ever to earn more than $9 million from a solo or shared headline show, surpassing Eminem’s 2019 earnings in Melbourne.
