Unlock the Secrets: How to Win Hans Capon’s Heart in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!

Deliverance 2 is an RPG set in medieval times, following the story of the central character, Henry, from the original game. Players find themselves caught up in a power struggle and a story of vengeance as they traverse Bohemia. Even with life-threatening situations at play, there’s room for romance, as several characters can be pursued romantically.

As a gamer, one captivating romantic option I’ve stumbled upon is my companion, the nobleman Hans Capon, in the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Hans, who seems to be the source of much turmoil for me, has a touch of spoiled elegance about him. However, if you decide to follow his romantic path, he and I make quite an endearing duo. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to win Hans’ heart in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Important Quests to Romance Hans Capon in KCD2

Players need to increase their charisma to earn a favorable standing with Hans. Throughout the game, there are numerous instances where they can subtly flirt with him, which gradually fosters a deeper connection as the narrative unfolds. While there are overt romantic dialogue options, understated moments also significantly impact the development of this relationship.

Back in the Saddle

In the initial mission titled “Back in the Saddle,” players have a chance to develop a romantic bond with the character named Hans. This quest starts after Henry saves Hans from imminent hanging. Later, Otto von Bergow enlists Henry and Hans for an investigation. However, it’s essential that players engage in conversation with Hans before they set off on their journey together.

He’ll express regret for his past actions, offering a chance for reconciliation between them; as for Henry, he can opt for the heart-shaped choice to engage in a friendly exchange.

  • “I care about you”

Afterward, the duo will embark on their journey. During this trip, players have the chance to interact with Hans and boost their standing with him through polite replies. If Hans proposes a race, always accept; in any case, Henry will enhance his reputation with Hans, whether he triumphs or loses.

For Victory!

In the game For Victory!, there’s no way to flirt with Hans, but you can still build a reputation with him. Remember, For Victory! is a Point of No Return, so be sure to complete any outstanding side quests before moving forward. During the gathering with other noblemen who are working alongside Otto von Bergow, stand up for Hans when given the chance in your conversations with von Bergow.

During my questing, when I’ve got the freedom to roam, I can chat up Hans to advance the mission. If I call the Chamberlain a dimwit, it seems to please him. Then, he tasks me with procuring wine and gear for our imminent battle tomorrow. I can grab the wine from Cook Manyeta in the kitchen, and the armor and sword from the blacksmith.

Players must pass several charisma checks to obtain the armor without a fight.

Fulfilling all of Hans’ tasks prior to bedtime guarantees the optimal outcome. Alternatively, players may choose to court Black Bartosch or Widow Johanka for a more short-term affection; engaging with either character will not affect Henry’s bond with Hans.

Taking French Leave

In the second act of “Taking French Leave,” another chance for interaction between you and Hans arises, this time when Hans is taken captive and it falls upon Henry to save him. Once they’re back together, Henry starts discussing their escape strategy.

Hans isn’t exactly excited about the idea of navigating through the tunnels because of his fear of confined spaces, but hey, if we hold hands and keep our eyes on the prize, it might not be so bad, right? ❤️

  • “We’ll manage it together.”

The Italian Job

During the final mission titled “The Italian Job,” players will encounter additional opportunities to strengthen their romantic relationship with Hans. This extended, action-packed sequence involves the team infiltrating a gathering, where Godwin disguises himself as an Italian cardinal. After successfully rescuing the nobles, players need to converse with Jan Zizka to move forward with the quest.

1. Option A: Hans can be found on the castle ramparts close to Zizka Tower. Here are some playful lines for engaging in a conversation with him:

– “Greetings, noble guardian of the battlements! Your vigilance is truly admirable.”
– “I must say, your posture up there is quite commanding.”
– “From this distance, you almost look like you’re carving the sky itself!”

2. Option B: Hans resides on the castle walls, not far from Zizka’s fortress. Here are some flirtatious dialogue options for interacting with him:

– “Ah, a fellow admirer of the breathtaking view up here!”
– “I couldn’t help but notice your presence amidst these stone walls.”
– “The way you blend with this castle’s grandeur is quite striking.”

  • “We spend too little time together….”
  • “I’m more concerned about you.”

Near the culmination of their journey, the party reunites beneath the ground before making their way back to Ruthard Palace. Henry was motivated to seek out Hans, who was isolated in a separate chamber. Hans revealed that he managed to keep his nerves under control in the tunnels. When encouraged, he playfully suggested:

  • “I care about you.”

How to Romance Hans During the Siege of Suchdol in KCD2

Katherine’s love storyline unfolds when players have earned her favor or respect.

In the game, once you choose to court either Katherine or Hans, the option to pursue the other character is no longer available due to a mutual exclusivity.

To begin your journey, head to Hans’ room in Suchdol. After hearing his tale, respond when asked by choosing: “I’m ready to move forward on this quest.

  • (Kiss Him)

This seals the deal, and players will enjoy a heated yet wholesome romantic scene between the two.
