Vijay Deverakonda is clearly becoming a standout among the rising stars in Tollywood (Telugu cinema). He’s impressively demonstrated his talent time and again, and people are eagerly anticipating his upcoming projects.
Lately, producer Naga Vamsi shared some notable details about the compensation of the Dear Comrade star for his upcoming big-budget film, Kingdom. During an interview with Galatta Plus, he disclosed that for the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial, the actor opted for a unique method regarding his remuneration.
Naga Vamsi mentioned that Vijay initially invested just a symbolic amount to kick off the project at this stage. But, when it comes to the profits the film generates, he’ll receive his full compensation, enough to cover both the production expenses and any additional costs incurred.
In Indian cinema for a long time, this type of compensation has been widely used and recognized by many.
Indeed, some prominent celebrities, like Shah Rukh Khan, often adopt an arrangement where they make a deal with the movie’s producers at the backend, only receiving a share of the profits after the film achieves success.
Regarding the movie Kingdom, its creators unveiled Anirudh Ravichander’s captivating theme music as a teaser on March 17th. This 90-second score is filled with melodies that send shivers down your spine and have fans eagerly anticipating the film’s release.
