I’ve poured my heart into this work, and every moment mattered to me. I just want to focus on that.” When questioned about potential discussions of other topics on the red carpet, she made it clear that she’s only interested in sharing about her new project. She asserted, “People can ask anything, but my duty is to talk about the work I’m there to promote. Getting a role in ‘Dying for Sex’ was significant for me, and I’m not planning to discuss anything else right now.
Significantly, Slate’s current lack of comment stands in stark contrast to her earlier vocal backing of Lively. In December 2024, when Lively publicly accused Baldoni of misconduct, Slate openly supported her co-star.
