In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll get to utilize three primary weapons throughout your adventure. Initially, you’ll wield the Katana, serving as your main weapon from the outset of the game. The Kusarigama is usually the subsequent weapon you’ll uncover during your journey; it was for me, but this may vary. Unlocking the third weapon could take some time since the Tanto might not appear until later in the game.

As an enthusiast, I’d express it like this: A Tanto is my go-to blade for up-close combat encounters. The thrill it brings, particularly in covert operations, is unparalleled! It’s versatile – I can hurl it to disorient and weaken adversaries, or use it precision strikes on their vulnerable spots for maximum damage.

It took me roughly 7 hours of play before I acquired my initial Tanto, which fell from a Castle mission requiring me to defeat Daisho foes and subsequently search a chest at the summit of a pagoda. Whether this is usual or not, I’m unsure; it seemed to take some time for it to appear in my game.
