Over the last several weeks, numerous Malayalam films have made their debut on online streaming services and generated a lot of excitement. Following the success of Marco, more movies are scheduled for release.
New Malayalam theatrical releases
1. Rekhachithram
- Cast: Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan, Mammootty, Manoj K. Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish

After a successful run in theaters, the movie “Rekhachithram” is now available on OTT platforms. Featuring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, this film tells the tale of a newly reappointed police station head (SHO) tasked with probing into the suspected suicide of Rajendran.
Prior to his passing, Rajendran disclosed information about a crime he was involved in long ago, concerning the vanishing of a young girl. In addition to the main characters, the movie showcases Mammootty’s role, which has been artificially intelligent recreated, with the real star lending his voice to the character.
2. The Malabar Tales

3. Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse

The movie titled “Ladies’ Purse” features Mammootty and Dominic. This film narrates the tale of Dominic, a shrewd but disgraced former police officer who now manages a detective agency. With his assistant, Vignesh, he embarks on a quest to identify the legitimate owner of a misplaced ladies’ purse.
At first glance, it seems like an uncomplicated situation; however, it rapidly evolves into a perplexing enigma entwined with disappearances, homicide, and additional puzzling elements. The narrative then unfolds, chronicling Dominic and his associate as they scramble to untangle the mystery before time runs out.
4. Love Under Construction

Love Under Construction is a romantic-comedy TV show centered on a man returning to India following the loss of his job in Dubai, where his story unfolds as he juggles love and life while constructing a home of his own.
