Split Fiction, the upcoming new game by Hazelight Studios, has both crossplay and a Friend’s Pass.
Explore Fictional Worlds
Following the releases of “A Way Out” and “It Takes Two”, the creative minds at Hazelight Studios are delivering another treat for fans – a co-operative action-adventure game. In this title, you and your partner assume roles as two writers who unwittingly find themselves locked inside their own fictional narratives. The objective is to collaborate and find a means of escape, which appears to be a common motif in the studio’s work.
Among them, one composes tales of science fiction, while the other weaves fantasy narratives. These stories sometimes blend, leading to a constant transition between realms stemming from both literary genres. Moreover, similar to the game “It Takes Two,” your characters gain unique abilities in each level that must be skillfully coordinated. Additionally, each level incorporates side plots derived from the two characters’ individual works.

Crossplay And Friend Pass
Just as with the studio’s last two releases, the game titled “Split Fiction” is designed to be played in a split-screen perspective and requires two players. Similar to the previous games, it comes with a “Friend’s Pass” feature that allows one player to purchase the game while the other can join for free!
For the first time, it includes crossplay compatibility, allowing both you and your partner to play together even if you’re using different gaming platforms! This game will launch for Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on March 6th. Get ready to dive into these captivating virtual worlds in just a few short weeks!
Absolutely! It’s returning, and this time, it comes with Cross-Platform Play! We’re referring to the Friend’s Pass feature. If you purchase Split Fiction, anyone can play the entire game with you for free online. And now, they can do so across all platforms! We’re making every effort to assist you. All that’s left is for you to pick up…
