As a dedicated fan who’s spent countless hours traversing the time-worn paths of Outlander, I must say that this season has been nothing short of exhilarating. The latest promo for episode 13 promises another heart-stopping installment, and I can hardly contain my excitement!
The stakes are high in the 13th episode of Outlander’s seventh season, as we take a sneak peek at the upcoming action. Check out the preview to find out more!
In the last episode, we found ourselves transported back to 1778. There, we witnessed various responses as Jamie returned from the dead, the tension between Jamie and John, and William grappling with the reality concerning his paternity.
It’s time to revisit all the various plotlines now. Trouble looms for everyone, regardless of timeline. Let’s check out a preview for episode 13 of Outlander, and then we can dive into the analysis:
Rachel struggles to deal with Young Ian going off to war
In the thirteenth episode of Outlander’s seventh season, Rachel and Claire will spend some quality time together. Despite her familiarity with Jamie’s absences due to war, it doesn’t make it any easier. Spouses of military personnel, police officers, or firefighters can likely relate – every day could be the last, a reality that must be accepted over and over again.
In the episode’s advertisement, it’s clear that Claire is straightforward with Rachel, a trait Rachel deeply values, even though she might wish for an easier truth.
Jemmy is trapped underground somewhere
At last, we catch sight of Jemmy! It appears he’s in a bind and seems to be hidden underground. Naturally, this secret location must be familiar to Rob Cameron, as it’s where he’s keeping Jemmy captive.
Brianna finds herself in a challenging situation. She desires to either harm Rob or force him to reveal her son’s whereabouts, but he holds the upper hand. If she harms him, she might lose her son forever. But is that really the case? That’s a risk Brianna must consider carefully to determine if it’s worth taking.
Roger and Buck head back to the stones in Outlander season 7, episode 13
Previously, Buck and Roger were chasing after Roger’s father. Now it seems they are returning to the stone formations. As they approach a group of standing stones, they are shouting for someone named Jemmy. It appears they continue to think that Jemmy might be trapped in the past somewhere.
Could they possibly locate Roger’s father within the remaining four episodes of this season? After all, it seems inevitable that they will do so, doesn’t it?
Lord John Grey will need to use his wits and skills
In a natural and easy-to-understand manner: As a British nobleman named Lord John Grey, one might expect him to possess certain abilities. He’d be adept at enduring harsh, cold environments. Despite being severely wounded by Jamie, he would retain his mental acuity. Survival will demand effort from him, nonetheless.
I’m overjoyed by the news that Lord John Grey has managed to slip away from the Rebel encampment. The bullet meant for him seems to have missed its mark, which is a relief. Yet, with many searching for his whereabouts, it’s not Jamie who’s rushing in to rescue him this time!
Jamie gets his blue coat in Outlander season 7, episode 13
From the initial marketing materials for this season, we learned that Jamie would don a blue coat. Since his reunion with George Washington in the last episode, we’ve been waiting to see him put on that blue coat, and now it’s finally happening.
George aims to instill a sense of camaraderie reminiscent of an Army among his group, and so they all wear a distinct uniform. Jamie is assuming command over a battalion, which necessitates adopting the appropriate attire. I’m quite curious about Claire’s response given her knowledge of the past history.
Outlander airs on Fridays on STARZ.
