Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Ranked Play is out today

As a seasoned gamer with years of Call of Duty under my belt, I must say that the early arrival of Ranked Play in Black Ops 6 has certainly caught my attention! The prospect of earning unique Operator skins as I climb the ranks is a definite incentive for me to hone my skills and strategize more effectively.

Exciting news, fellow gaming enthusiasts! Today, a day ahead of schedule, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is introducing Ranked Play. The masterminds behind it, Treyarch, have spilled the beans on the rules and inner workings of this competitive mode, including which weapons are off-limits and what rewards we can expect to reap.

In a fresh blog entry, we delve into the essentials of Ranked Mode in Black Ops 6, a gameplay aspect. As gamers climb up the ranks, they’ll be rewarded with exclusive Operator cosmetics to flaunt their skills. The Operator rewards kick off at the Gold level and extend up to the Champion level. In parties of four, players can join Ranked Mode matches regardless of rank, but the system will match them based on the highest-ranked participant.

In Ranked Matches, certain items like weapons, accessories, gear, and special abilities are prohibited. This ban applies to the AS VAL, the last assault rifle you can unlock in Multiplayer. Additionally, Ranked Play forbids the use of FMJ Rounds, Stim Shots, and Overkill.

Over the coming months, Treyarch will make changes to the settings and features of Ranked mode. In 2025 when Ranked Play Season 2 begins, a fresh batch of prizes will be up for grabs.
