As a seasoned gamer and Netflix enthusiast with over two decades under my belt, I must say that this week‘s lineup is a veritable smorgasbord of entertainment! From the gripping tale of survival in space to the nail-biting whodunit of The Perfect Couple, there’s something for everyone.
At last, it’s September! Now’s the time to dust off the Halloween decors and check out what’s new on Netflix this week. This week’s lineup includes a captivating space documentary, a fresh crime drama, as well as another season of a popular real estate reality show.
To begin with, the title “Apollo 13: Survival” becomes available on Netflix this Thursday, September 5. This film recounts the widely recognized tale of a mission to the moon that took an unexpectedly perilous turn but ultimately held a glimmer of hope. If you’ve yet to watch the Tom Hanks movie version of this story, it serves as an excellent introduction. In essence, the Apollo 13 spacecraft was running low on oxygen and NASA faced the daunting challenge of ensuring the safe return of the astronauts.

On Thursday, Sept 5, “The Perfect Couple” will be available on Netflix as well. This miniseries features Dakota Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Eve Hewson, Liev Schreiber, and Meghann Fahy in the main roles. The plot revolves around a wedding that takes a dark turn when a corpse is discovered, making everyone in attendance a potential suspect.

If you fancy taking a peek at houses that are likely beyond your budget, then the return of ‘Selling Sunset’ in its eighth season on September 6 is just what you need! The agents bring plenty of drama, intrigue, and expensive mansions. What else could you ask for?

As a devoted fan of both classic films and compelling documentaries, I am absolutely thrilled about the lineup for the upcoming week! On Sunday, September 1st, I can’t wait to revisit the iconic shark tale in “Jaws” 1-3. Growing up, I remember the chilling impact these movies had on me and countless others, and I’m excited to experience that nostalgia once more.
