As a seasoned gamer with decades of wrestling video games under my belt, I must admit, the prospect of Bron Breakker versus John Cena is nothing short of electrifying! I’ve been following WWE for years, and it’s not every day that a rookie like Breakker sets his sights on a legend like Cena.
The current WWE Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker, is aiming his ambitions towards the 16-time WWE Champion, John Cena. Since debuting on WWE’s main roster this year, Breakker has been stirring up quite a commotion.
Post the WWE Draft in April, Breakker got selected for Raw. Ever since then, he’s been aiming at big names like Ricochet and Ilja Dragunov, leaving a trail of destruction among his fellow wrestlers. Subsequently, he has his eyes set on Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn now.
As I stepped into the ring at WWE Money in the Bank, facing off against Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title in Canada, I felt the weight of the belt on my shoulders. But alas, it slipped away from me for the first time on the main roster, as Zayn claimed victory. However, I didn’t let that defeat dampen my spirit. I was relentless in my pursuit of the title, and after defeating Ilja Dragunov in a number one contender match, I got another chance to challenge Zayn for the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam.
Last week, at WWE SummerSlam, Bron Breakker achieved a major feat by capturing the Intercontinental Championship. Following this significant victory, Breakker wants to face none other than 16-time WWE Champion John Cena in a retirement match.
Bron Breakker aims to end John Cena’s career
Recently, Bron Breakker, current WWE Intercontinental Champion, chatted with the Daily Star about an exciting prospect he has in mind – a dream match! Breakker passionately expressed his wish to go head-to-head with John Cena, especially in a high-pressure bout as Cena prepares for the final chapter of his remarkable career.
As a gamer, I’d rephrase that as: “I believe my match against John Cena, who’s currently on his farewell tour, would be an unforgettable one. Given the uncertainty about how long he’ll be active and what his schedule looks like, if he’s seeking to engage with top-tier talent he hasn’t worked with before, I’m the guy. There isn’t anyone else. If he wants to go head-to-head with the future leaders of this locker room for the next five to ten years, that’s me.”
Next year, John Cena is planning to kick off his farewell tour within the WWE. Over the course of the year, he’s expected to make approximately 30 to 40 appearances. It’ll be intriguing to watch if a match-up with Bron Breakker takes place during this tour.
