Stranger Things Season 5 Features an ‘Absolutely Heartbreaking’ Max Scene

As a dedicated fan of Stranger Things, I can hardly contain my excitement for Season 5! Ever since Max stepped onto the scene in Season 2, she’s become an integral part of the Hawkins crew. The cliffhanger at the end of Season 4 with her being in a coma has left us all on tenterhooks.

In the upcoming fifth season of “Stranger Things”, there’s a particularly sad and touching moment featuring Sadie Sink’s character, Max.

Since the second season, Sink has portrayed Max in the popular Netflix show Stranger Things. Her role grew significantly important as the series progressed, and in Season 4, Max took center stage prominently. However, the season concluded with Max’s character slipping into a coma.

Briefly discussing the potential plot points for Stranger Things Season 5, Sink hinted at what we might expect for Max’s character.

“They love having me run,” she said. “That’s all I’ll say.”

What did Matt and Ross Duffer say about Max’s heartbreaking Stranger Things Season 5 scene?

According to creators Matt and Ross Duffer, commonly known as the Duffer Brothers, it’s been confirmed that character Max will be involved in the last season of Stranger Things, despite currently being in a coma. Ross mentioned they prefer not to disclose the method behind her participation just yet.

Matt, however, provided a few more details.

He remarked, “The actress, Sink, seems to have significantly boosted her confidence and decision-making skills.” He added, “Recently, we shot a scene that left me in tears – I can’t fathom how she manages to deliver such emotionally charged performances.”

At present, the production of Stranger Things Season 5 is underway in Atlanta. Joining Sink once more for this concluding chapter are Winona Ryder portraying Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, Jamie Cambell Bower as Vecna, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Amybeth McNulty as Vickie, and Linda Hamilton in a role yet to be specified.
