This heartwarming show about Colter’s travels across the country to aid those in need became an instant ratings success and was promptly renewed for another season.
A noteworthy example is the show “Elsbeth,” featuring Carrie Preston reprising her Emmy-winning role from “The Good Wife” as Elsbeth Tascioni. This lawyer relocated to New York City to assist the police department and swiftly became embroiled in resolving homicides. The broadcast schedule was intriguing, with its debut on February 29 – a choice likely made due to the unusual relevance of having an eccentric character debut on Leap Day. After that, the show took the entire month of March off before continuing with its usual airing on April 4. Despite this unusual scheduling, “Elsbeth” was successful enough to secure a second season.
