The initial images for the upcoming movie titled “Zootopia 2” have surfaced, introducing a novel character – a quokka therapist called Dr. Fuzzby, portrayed by Quinta Brunson.
In March 2016, the initial release of Zootopia graced movie theaters. The ensemble voicing this animated Disney film, helmed by directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore, features Ginnifer Goodwin portraying Judy Hopps and Jason Bateman taking on the role of Nick Wilde.
The sequel to Zootopia, titled Zootopia 2, has been scheduled for release in November. Jason Bateman and Jenny Slate will reprise their roles, while Ke Huy Quan, known from “Everything Everywhere All At Once” and “Love Hurts”, will voice a character named Gary – a snake in this animated adventure.

In this upcoming movie, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will team up once more on a fresh mission that involves them disguising themselves for an undercover operation. The film will also present a new character named Nibbles, voiced by Fortune Feimster (You’re Cordially Invited, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar). Additionally, Shakira is set to make another appearance as the renowned pop music sensation Gazelle.
In the sequel to Zootopia, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, characters Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman), embark on an intriguing investigation concerning a peculiar reptile that disrupts the order in Zootopia. To solve this perplexing case, Judy and Nick venture into uncharted territories of their city, where their bond as partners is stretched to its limits.
The movie is helmed by directors Howard and Jared Bush, who also wrote the script. Yvette Merino takes on the role of producer.
In November 2022, Disney unveiled an animated miniseries titled Zootopia+, which served as a continuation of the movie. This anthology series focused on several characters like Bonnie Hopps (voiced by Bonnie Hunt) and Duke Weaselton (voiced by Alan Tudyk), delving into events that transpired during the original film’s timeline.
In U.S. movie theaters, Zootopia 2 is set for release on November 26, 2025. Currently, you can watch both Zootopia and Zootopia+ on Disney+’s streaming service.
