Zack Snyder’s upcoming ventures are eagerly anticipated by his followers, and he hinted at a reveal coming “very soon.” Following the Netflix debut of his animated series, “Twilight of the Gods,” Snyder has shared that he is mulling over several concepts. He underscored his dedication to crafting compelling narratives across diverse mediums such as animation and live-action.
Zack Snyder says his next movie or series will be decided ‘very soon’
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that Zack Snyder has hinted at his next venture, be it a movie or series, and he promises to make a decision “very soon.” In an engaging chat with Tyler Treese of ComingSoon, Snyder mentioned that there are a few projects catching his eye. He’s keeping tight-lipped for now, but we might know the details soon enough!
In a recent interview, Snyder spoke about his new venture, Twilight of the Gods, that debuted on Netflix on September 19, 2024. This project, jointly created with Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller, is an animated series inspired by Norse mythology and boasts a big-name cast.
The animated series is a joint creation of Stone Quarry Animation and Xilam Animation from France. It delves into an adult-oriented, action-packed storyline featuring prominent mythological characters such as Sigrid, Leif, and Thor. In this production, Sylvia Hoeks voices Sigrid, Stuart Martin portrays Leif, while Pilou Asbæk lends his voice to Thor Odinson. Additionally, the series boasts other talented actors like Rahul Kohli as Egill, Paterson Joseph as Loki, Peter Franzén as Glaumar, and John Noble as Odin.
Zack Snyder’s upcoming project is still kept secret, and it’s unclear whether it will be animated like ‘Twilight of the Gods’ or return to live-action as ‘Rebel Moon’. Given his history of managing multiple projects, a decision on the format may come after he gauges the public’s response to ‘Twilight of the Gods’.
As Twilight of the Gods is currently streaming and sparking discussions about the director’s previous films, fans are excitedly looking forward to Zack Snyder’s future endeavors. According to Variety magazine in May, Snyder may potentially direct a television series adapted from his successful 2006 movie, 300. However, it is yet unclear if Snyder will indeed work on this series and whether it will be his next assignment.
