On Monday, August 12, 2024, at 10:00 p.m., Korean time (KST), the new K-drama titled “Your Honor” will make its debut on ENA. This series is an original production by Genie TV and consists of ten episodes. It will air every Monday and Tuesday, with each episode lasting for one hour. 2024’s K-drama “Your Honor” offers a gripping crime thriller narrative that presents an unusual alliance between a conscientious judge, Judge Song Pan-Ho, and a notorious gang leader. Both men share a common bond as fathers, each striving to protect their sons – Song Ho-Young (Judge Song’s son) and an unnamed gangster offspring – who find themselves in precarious situations that test the boundaries of righteousness and power. Judge Song Pan-Ho is renowned for his integrity, having instilled similar values in his son.

In the narrative, crime lord Kim Kang-Heon exhibits a frosty demeanor, except towards his son, Kim Sang-Hyuk, who shares his father’s ruthless and aggressive traits. A fateful event intertwines their lives in a manner that is far from beneficial. The plot primarily explores the repercussions of parental actions, crime, and the quest for power.

Actor Son Hyun-Joo portrays Judge Pan-Ho, a character known for his warmth, justice, and integrity. He is intellectually astute, forward-thinking, and affectionate towards his children. Remarkably, he is prepared to compromise his principles for the sake of his son. Prior to this role, Hyun-Joo has been featured in numerous K-dramas such as “Captivating the King”, “The Good Detective” (Seasons 1 and 2), “Itaewon Class”, “Criminal Minds”, “Golden Empire”, and “The Lie”.

In 1998, Director Min-Soo and Hyun-Joo collaborated on the drama titled “The Lie.” Additionally, Director Min-Soo has also been involved in films like “Spring Day,” “The Golden Holiday,” “The Chronicles of Evil,” and “The Hunt.”

Additionally, Kim Do-Hoon portrays Song Ho-Young, Pan-Ho’s son. He is a brilliant individual who manages to secure a spot at the esteemed Seoul National University. With a strong moral compass, he possesses a sensitive demeanor. However, events take an unexpected turn on a fateful day. Previously, Do-Hoon has starred in various dramas like Moving, My Sweet Mobster, Dark Hole, Here’s My Plan, and Your Imagination Becomes Reality. His filmography also includes The Hypnosis, Handsome Guys, and Boys Be!.

Acting as Kim Kang-Heon, the ruthless crime boss portrayed by Kim Myung-Min, may seem cold and perilous to the outside world. However, he is a loving father who will go to great lengths for his son. Unfortunately, his life takes an unexpected turn following a devastating incident. Kim Myung-Min has a diverse acting background, having appeared in popular series like Law School, Miracle That We Met, Six Flying Dragons, A New Leaf, The King of Dramas, and White Tower. In addition to television roles, he has also been featured in films such as The Battle of Jangsari, Monstrum, A Day, and Pandora, both in Korean cinema.

Beyond this, actor Heo Nam-Jun takes on the role of Kang-Heon’s son, Kim Sang-Hyuk. Much like his father, he exhibits a violent and brutal demeanor. His character is destined for a startling end in the series. Previously, Nam-Jun has graced several well-known dramas such as Sweet Home seasons 2 and 3, The Impossible Heir, The Matchmakers, and Snowdrop. Additionally, his filmography includes Night in Paradise, Double Patty, and Like the First.
