As a devoted fan who has grown up alongside the Cooper family and their quirky antics, I am absolutely thrilled to see Raegan Revord reprising her role as Missy Cooper in the upcoming spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage! In a rewind to The Big Bang Theory’s origins, Record portrayed the beloved character Missy Cooper throughout all seven seasons of the prequel series. This series, set in the late 80s and early 90s, featured Iain Armitage as Sheldon Lee Cooper, the central prodigious child, and Montana Jordan as their elder brother George “Georgie” Cooper Jr., with whom she shared the screen.
In the last season that aired, the popular CBS sitcom came to an end. However, viewers can look forward to catching up with some characters from the Cooper and McAllister families in the forthcoming show centered around Georgie and Mandy’s initial union.
In a video posted to the official TikTok account of Young Sheldon, Revord shared that he had heard people were wondering where he was. He mentioned he’s currently on the set of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage and specifically in Missy’s bedroom. Revord went on to express his joy at being back.

Who else stars in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage?
Besides Jordan, who is portrayed by Georgie and Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister, the sitcom will also welcome back Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper and Annie Potts as Connie “Meemaw” Tucker. Both Perry and Potts have signed on to make appearances in the series.
In this show, Will Sasso takes on the character Jim McAllister, while Rachel Bay Jones portrays Audrey McAllister. During Seasons 6 and 7 of Young Sheldon, these two actors made repeated appearances. Moreover, Dougie Baldwin joined as Connor McAllister, and Jessie Prez stepped into the role of Ruben. The creators of this series are Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, and Steve Holland.
In a continuation of The Big Bang Theory franchise, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the third series, is set to premiere on October 17, 2024. This new show will be broadcast every Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, taking over the same time slot previously occupied by Young Sheldon.
