She considered how both Lily and Amanda might react to this revelation. “This secret will also affect Amanda, I believe, because I think she was being influenced by two people,” Morgan stated about maintaining the Aristotle Dumas secret. “Up until now, Amanda and Lily had a good relationship. So I think there’s a lot of betrayal that Amanda didn’t tell Lily about this sooner,” she further explained.
Without a doubt, Amanda isn’t just Cane Ashby’s casual friend. In fact, she serves as his legal counsel, which means she’s bound by professional ethics and can’t disclose confidential information. However, the actress hinted that it might be challenging for her character to clarify this complex situation to Lily.
Amanda must keep certain information private as it’s her employer. Legally, she can’t reveal anything he wishes to remain secret. She acknowledged, ‘Explaining this to Lily might prove challenging indeed.’
