Originally, “The Young and the Restless” aired from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, while “The Bold and the Beautiful” followed from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. However, due to scheduling changes, viewers should be prepared for these popular soap operas to air at different times moving forward.

Why are The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful getting new air times on CBS?
Beginning soon, daytime dramas “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” will be pushed back slightly due to an expansion of 10 Tampa Bay Midday. Instead of airing for a mere half-hour, this local programming will now broadcast one hour of live news and weather updates.
According to TV Insider’s CBS daytime listings, the previous line-up was as follows:
- Local programming – 12:00 PM
- The Young and The Restless – 12:30 PM
- The Bold and The Beautiful – 1:30 PM
- Beyond the Gates- 2:00 PM
Beginning on Monday, July 7, there will be changes to the show timings that have just been announced. Here is the revised schedule:

As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed that CBS isn’t new to shaking up its daytime show lineup. In fact, back in December 2024, they adjusted the timings for their morning and afternoon shows, which is why our beloved soap operas currently air at their present slots. Interestingly, before Beyond the Gates made its premiere, The Price Is Right held that spot instead.
Regarding this month’s schedule adjustments, all your favorite soaps will still air from Monday through Friday, just as previously scheduled. In addition to CBS, you can catch these shows streaming on Paramount+.
