As an ardent follower of the Kannada film industry, I’ve been deeply moved by the heartrending journey of Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja. Their love story, marked by friendship, romance, and tragic loss, is a testament to the profound impact of love in our lives.

Lately, Meghana Raj posted an emotional tribute on Instagram for her deceased husband and actor, Chiranjeevi Sarja, on his birthday. Typically, the actress recalls fond memories of their past together as she honors him each year. On June 7, 2020, Chiranjeevi Sarja tragically lost his life at the age of 39 in Bengaluru following a heart attack. Regrettably, his wife, actress Meghana Raj, was expecting their first child, having reached five months in her pregnancy at the time of his passing.

It appears that Meghana had been in a relationship with Chiranjeevi for ten years prior to their engagement in 2017.

In an interview with Times of India, the actress shared a poignant memory from her late husband. She stated that just before he regained consciousness at home, he said to her, “There is no need for you to worry, nothing bad will happen to me.” These were his final words to her.

Prior to their romantic relationship, Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja were close friends. They dated for about ten years before tying the knot in 2018. Sadly, the actor passed away unexpectedly, leaving his wife deeply saddened. Not long after this tragic event, Meghana gave birth to their first child.

In the year 2020, Meghana gave birth to their child, Rayyan Raj Sarja. This was mere months following the passing of Chiranjeevi. Occasionally, she affectionately refers to him as Jr. Chiru or Simba, in honor of her deceased spouse.
