Haliey Welch, often referred to as the “Hawk Tuah girl,” shared a sneak peek of her latest product line on Instagram, available at Spirit Halloween stores. She labeled the post, “It’s time for HAWKtober!” In the video, the social media influencer is seen testing out the Hawk Tuah Halloween costume within one of their stores.
The bubblegum-pink mechanic suit-like jumpsuit comes with an X-rated logo. It reads, “Hawk Tuah Express / Lubrication Experts / Spit on That Thang!” Besides, the logo includes an illustration of a hand holding a spanner. Spirit Halloween website notes the zip-up costume is priced at $49.99 and comes in three sizes.
Following the reveal of Welch’s Halloween costume, numerous Instagram users expressed their opinions in the comment section of the reel. One user said, “Okay, ‘Hawktober’ is clever, I’ll admit that.” Another posted, “Hawks-tember is spot on!”, while a third commented, “I can tell you right now, Halloween will make her wealthy.
As a gamer, I’ve seen the buzz about Welch’s latest project, but there are some who didn’t seem to like it and left their two cents in the comments. Yet, Hawk Tuah, the sensation she is, isn’t letting the naysayers get her down. In an interview with PEOPLE, she shared, “Those who comment negatively under my posts often say ‘Follow back.’ That’s pretty straightforward.” She further explained, “It’s not rocket science.” Essentially, she’s saying that if you can’t say something nice, then don’t expect a follow back.
Welch continued to share that she wants to use her platform for a good cause. The internet personality started a foundation called Paws Across America. Welch said, “I didn’t ask for this and I’m grateful I have it, so I want to help others too.”
