Yes, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Admits To Peeing in Bottles on Set

As a long-time gamer and movie enthusiast who has followed Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s career with bated breath, I must admit that this latest revelation regarding his on-set habits has left me quite perplexed. It’s not every day you hear about one of the world’s most charismatic action stars admitting to a peculiar practice like urinating in bottles during filming!

Contrary to his global stardom, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has recently been drawn into an unusual dispute. His upcoming blockbuster, Red One, boasts a high-profile cast and is set to hit US theaters later this week. However, before its debut, whispers have surfaced about Johnson’s peculiar behaviors on set. One outlandish claim even alleged that the former wrestler would occasionally use bottles to urinate during filming. Yet, it remains questionable whether these allegations carry any weight.

Here’s everything you need to know regarding the peeing controversy surrounding The Rock.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson admits to peeing in bottles

Back in April 2024, news about my on-set shenanigans made headlines, sparked by an article from The Wrap. This reliable source spilled the beans on how my peculiar habits might have contributed to the ballooning budget of our $250m action-comedy project.

A report mentioned that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson often arrives late on film sets and also claimed that he occasionally uses bottles while filming movies instead of going to the bathroom. In an interview with GQ, Johnson acknowledged this practice, saying “Yes, it happens,” as reported by The Guardian. It’s worth noting that he had previously admitted to using bottles during his workout routines for the same purpose.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson acknowledged that he occasionally arrives late on set, but disputes the reported delay by eight hours. In his words, “That happens too, but not to that extent. That’s quite a stretch. It’s absurd. Unbelievable.” Director Jake Kasdan, who worked with him on Red One, also defended Johnson, acknowledging that he might be late occasionally, but has never missed a day of work.

Initially, sneak peeks at Red One have drawn criticism from reviewers due to issues like lack of coherence and other unfavorable points. However, the movie is set to premiere in U.S. theaters on November 15, 2024.
