At her Las Vegas residency concert on October 25th, Adele astonished everyone in attendance when she disclosed a personal detail – she has partial hearing loss in one ear. This revelation was made during an interactive segment onstage where Adele engaged with the audience.

In a video shared on X (previously known as Twitter), Adele revealed additional information about her uncommon health issue, which she described as an ear infection. She admitted, “I’ve actually been dealing with an ear infection, quite unfortunate. I’ve never experienced an ear infection before.” Comparing the discomfort to childbirth, the singer explained that it has impacted her left ear.

Adele described an extremely agonizing experience she had, worse than childbirth itself, as the most difficult moment of her life. She explained this hardship was due to a seldom-encountered water bacteria infection. Later, she disclosed that she became partially deaf in her left ear because she was given the wrong antibiotics for several days initially, but eventually received one that proved effective. This is great news, she said, although it has left her with some hearing loss.

As reported by Fox News, Adele has disclosed that despite encountering challenges, she decided not to delay her concert scheduled for her Las Vegas residency. Initially, the show was planned for March; however, due to her decision to take some time off, Adele had to adjust the performance dates.
