The renowned Japanese developer will showcase information about their upcoming game in the Yakuza, Like a Dragon, and Judgment series during this event.
At a recent live broadcast by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, as covered by GamesRadar, the team gave a sneak peek of their upcoming game. The detailed unveil of this new project will take place at Tokyo Game Show 2024, happening from September 26 to September 29 at Makuhari Messe in Japan.
Currently, RGG Studio has kept quiet about their next game. They could continue with the Like a Dragon series and the beloved protagonist Ichiban, add more action featuring the long-standing Yakuza protagonist Kiryu, revert to the detective genre of Judgment, or perhaps explore something new. It’s important to note that RGG Studio has been involved in various Sega projects outside of these games, such as the Super Monkey Ball series, which recently released the well-received Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble.
