As a die-hard fan of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and their critically acclaimed Yakuza series, I can hardly contain my excitement for Tokyo Game Show 2024! The studio has consistently delivered masterpieces that blend deep storytelling with engaging gameplay, leaving me hooked on every new release.
At Tokyo Game Show 2024 in September 2024, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is expected to unveil their latest project for Sega. This follows their string of successful titles in recent years. The renowned Japanese developer will showcase information about their upcoming game in the Yakuza, Like a Dragon, and Judgment series during this event.
At a recent live broadcast by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, as covered by GamesRadar, the team gave a sneak peek of their upcoming game. The detailed unveil of this new project will take place at Tokyo Game Show 2024, happening from September 26 to September 29 at Makuhari Messe in Japan.
Currently, RGG Studio has kept quiet about their next game. They could continue with the Like a Dragon series and the beloved protagonist Ichiban, add more action featuring the long-standing Yakuza protagonist Kiryu, revert to the detective genre of Judgment, or perhaps explore something new. It’s important to note that RGG Studio has been involved in various Sega projects outside of these games, such as the Super Monkey Ball series, which recently released the well-received Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble.
If Ryu Ga Gotoku reveals anything new at Tokyo Game Show 2024, there’s even more reason to look forward to the event. Keep an eye out for further information and updates leading up to the TGS presentation later this year.
