As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the news of Yakuza Kiwami coming to Nintendo Switch has sent a thrill down my spine. Having played the original on PlayStation 2 and its PC remaster a few years back, I’m eagerly anticipating this port.
In its current Like a Dragon phase, the Yakuza series has ventured into uncharted territories with the new protagonist Ichiban, yet fans remain fond of Kiryu. Exciting news for Nintendo Switch players as they’ll soon get to explore Kiryu’s origins! Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have revealed that Yakuza Kiwami will be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch, with a release slated for October 2024.

Back in 2019, we thoroughly enjoyed the PC adaptation of Kiwami. It’ll be intriguing to discover if the Switch edition maintains the same level of quality. Keep an eye out for further developments as Yakuza Kiwami prepares for its launch on Nintendo Switch, happening this October.
