As a long-time gamer with memories of LAN parties and midnight releases, I can barely contain my excitement for the upcoming wave of games hitting Xbox Game Pass Ultimate! The chance to dive into the early access beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 without pre-ordering is truly a dream come true. And let’s not forget about Atlas Fallen and Star Trucker, two titles that promise to keep me engrossed for hours on end.
Microsoft has verified that additional Xbox Game Pass Ultimate titles will become available on the service during the second wave of August 2024. Besides the earlier confirmed day-one launch of Core Keeper, an additional three games are set to be added soon, including the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Early Access Open Beta.
Here are the Xbox Game Pass August 2024 Wave 2 games
Starting from Thursday, August 22nd in August 2024, we’ll kick off the second phase of our games lineup by introducing Atlas Fallen, an immersive open-world action RPG. The following week will see Core Keeper joining us, but the main attraction is early access to the beta version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which you can experience without having to pre-purchase the game.
For Game Pass members, the early-access beta becomes available for preloading as of August 28, 2024. This beta version will be activated on August 30. The early access phase concludes on September 4, followed by another open beta launch on September 6.
Over the coming days, we’ll be adding four new games to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Here’s a sneak peek at the games joining us for the remainder of this month and the early days of September:
- Atlas Fallen (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) – August 22
- Core Keeper (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) – August 27
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Early Access Beta Preload (Console and PC) – August 28
- Star Trucker (Console, PC, and Cloud) – September 3
Over the next few weeks, I’m excited to share that three additional games are joining my Xbox Game Pass Core subscription!
