Microsoft has shared that they are planning to conduct an Xbox Developer Direct event on January 23. This digital presentation promises a detailed exploration of four forthcoming games, such as Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
This morning, Microsoft announced a Developer Direct event for Xbox, scheduled for January 2025, as mentioned in an Xbox Wire post. Similar to the initial Developer Direct held last year, this event will feature the developers themselves, who will host the showcase from their own studios and film it.
The following three games – Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – which will be showcased at Developer Direct, are all scheduled for release in 2025. Interestingly, a hint towards a fourth unnamed game is given in the promotional graphic for the event. In a similar fashion to last year’s Xbox tease, this could potentially mean an additional game, possibly Square Enix’s Visions of Mana, will be revealed as a bonus.
