An alternative ending for X-Men ’97 Season 1 has been revealed.
Back in March 2024, X-Men ’97, an animated Marvel series, made its debut on Disney+. This series wasn’t just any ordinary production; it was orchestrated by Beau DeMayo. Interestingly, though, DeMayo, the show’s initial chief writer, was let go from his position just before the premiere, following completion of the first two seasons.
On X, DeMayo shared a screenplay of a scene that was ultimately cut from X-Men ’97.
What happens in the alternate X-Men ’97 Season 1 ending?
In an alternate ending for X-Men ’97, Forge would have met Kitty Pryde, her pet dragon Lockheed, and Colossus. However, in the final version of the first series, Kitty, Lockheed, and Colossus were not included; though, there’s a brief scene where Morph transforms into a likeness of Colossus.
