It appears that the possible title for Ti West’s upcoming horror film may have surfaced, offering a glimpse into what projects the director behind X and MaXXXine might be developing.
What is the name of Ti West’s next movie?
Based on a report by World of Reel, it’s expected that production for a movie called “Scream Queen” will start in Ireland next month. Filming is scheduled to begin on June 3, but little details about the project have been released so far.
Although West has declared that he’s finished with the X trilogy and any related franchise, the film’s title hints at a horror genre. As of now, there’s no news on casting, storyline, or confirmation about a project starting next month.
West gained immense fame as a director post the 2022 release of the movie X. This movie traced the narrative of a group coming together to produce an adult film on an elderly couple’s estate. A prequel titled Pearl was launched only half a year later, featuring Mia Goth portraying a younger version of the character she had played in X as well.
After Pearl’s premiere, there came another movie set within the same universe last year – MaXXXine. As before, Goth was cast in this film, portraying both Maxine Minx (her character from X) and a more mature version of Pearl.
