WWE Superstar Roman Reigns Opened Up About AEW Star Jon Moxley’s Wild Side

In a recent disclosure, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns shared an intriguing aspect about his former teammate from AEW, Jon Moxley, who was once part of The Shield alongside him and Seth Rollins. This formidable trio, which included Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley), made their first appearance at the WWE Survivor Series in 2012. Over time, they rose to become the leading faction within the WWE.

In the year 2014, the group disbanded, with each member subsequently excelling individually in WWE competitions. Each of them eventually earned the title of Grand Slam Champion, cementing their place in WWE history. However, in an unexpected turn of events in 2019, Ambrose parted ways with WWE and joined AEW under the name Jon Moxley. Despite the passage of time, fans continue to harbor hopes for a reunion between these esteemed performers.

For quite some time, these three stars have made it clear that they’ve maintained contact with each other. Lately, Reigns recounted an instance about Moxley’s erratic personality during their journeys. Reflecting on this, Reigns expresses a wish that Moxley has found stability in his life now, particularly for the benefit of his family.

Roman Reigns hopes Jon Moxley has settled down for his family’s sake

On SHAK Wrestling, Roman Reigns reminisced about Jon Moxley’s mysterious disappearances during their Shield days and while traveling together. He pointed out Moxley’s tendency to vanish in airports only to pop back up unexpectedly. Now that Moxley is a family man, Reigns expresses hope that he has given up this wandering habit.

Reigns mentioned that it had been some time since they last spoke with Mox. He noted that Mox is hard to track down, as you can’t simply check a GPS to find him. You can’t just say, ‘He’s right here, don’t worry,’ because we never knew where he was. However, we always knew he would show up when needed. Often, we’d gather in the concourse, and there were only so many places for him to hide, leaving us wondering where exactly he was.

He went on saying, “However, there was one instance that made us tense up, reminiscent of the Shield’s ominous music and progression through the alphabet, leaving me gazing at Seth, questioning, ‘Seth, do you know where the fox is?’ Because, as we all know, the fox will always be foxy. Yet, every single time it was about to descend those steps, he was already there. That’s just the kind of person he was. We’d be strolling through the airport and he’d vanish…

Reigns remarked, ‘Suddenly, he would appear, often with a bagel, coffee, and a bite of croissant or similar. It’s been some time since then, and he has a family now, so I hope his unpredictable behavior is less frequent for the sake of his wife and child. Indeed, he was an unquestionably unpredictable individual.'” [Credit: Wrestletalk]

Back in the day, I used to roll with Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley as part of the unstoppable trio known as The Shield. Recently, Roman shared a fun tale about Moxley, but it’s been ages since we’ve all been on the same team. With Moxley now in AEW, the dream of a Shield reunion feels like it’s slipping further away, leaving us fans longing for those good old days.
